Historic Satellite Map of JHQ (Google)

The map above was created using a multitude of screenshots taken from Google Maps. The reason for doing this being that the map will change over time as the buildings are demolished and Google’s planes fly over the area again and create new maps thus removing all evidence of the existence of JHQ. This could not be allowed to happen so this map has been painstakingly created.

For those of you who want to see a lot more detail, and have good internet bandwidth, view the Adobe Acrobat PDF version by clicking on the link below (may not work if you are using a mobile phone due to the size of the PDF). This version goes right down to street level and names all streets! Alternatively, you can download the PDF file to your PC by clicking the link for the zipped copy below. You will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your PC to read this file (once it has been unzipped).

The Google map below shows the current state of JHQ. So sad to see a once vibrant place fall to rack and ruin!
